Stonyridge Veterinary Services-Customer Service Representative

Our team is looking for a veterinary customer service representative with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing person with great customer service skills who enjoys interacting with people.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• at least one year of previous customer service experience
• experience in veterinary medicine or medical background preferred
• has a flexible schedule
• ability to multi-task
• Must enjoy working with people and animals

Job duties include:

• Customer service functions include greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
